Corporate Tax FAQs

Yes. All UAE entities must register for CT and file a return, regardless of revenue. If your taxable income is below AED 375,000, you file under Small Business Relief and pay 0% tax — but the return must still be filed to claim this relief. Missing the filing deadline still carries penalties.
Free zone entities that meet the Qualifying Free Zone Person (QFZP) conditions pay 0% on qualifying income. Non-qualifying income (including mainland UAE domestic income) is taxed at 9%. All free zone entities must still register and file — the return confirms whether income is qualifying or not.
A CT return must be supported by financial statements. Free zone entities with revenue above AED 50 million must have audited accounts. For smaller businesses, reviewed or well-prepared management accounts are generally acceptable. We can prepare or review your financials as part of our service.
